Rededication of the Masonic Hall

James L. Jack, Provincial Grand Master headed a very large Deputation from
Provincial Grand Lodge to a Special Meeting of Lodge Robert King Stewart No. 919
in New Stevenston this afternoon. The purpose of the meeting was to celebrate
the Centenary of the Masonic Hall and to conduct a Re-dedication Ceremony almost
exactly 100 years to the day that Bro. Col. Robert King Stewart, Provincial
Grand Master first Dedicated the Hall.
Ceremonial was conducted by the Provincial Grand Master and the Provincial
Chaplains Bro. Rev. Peter Price and Bro. James Ferguson in a very dignified
the Ceremonial the Brethren retired to a Centenary Dinner in the Hall.
To mark the occasion of the rededication of the Masonic Hall 100 enameled Mark Pennies were struck and sold to the brethren - all are now sold. A further 10 unenameled pennies were also struck and they too are now sold. More details of the meeting to follow.
