The following deaths were announced Bro David Paton at the age of 77; he affiliated from 406 in 1985: Bro Sandy Wright at the age of 62; he joined the lodge in 1969. A minute's silence was observed. An excellent third degree by 573.
5/3/2008 First 32       The death of Brother Robert Forbes PM was announced. Bob was 67, joined the lodge in 1986 and was RWM in 1993-4.A minute's silence was observed. An exemplification of the first degree was held in preparation for the PGL visit.

PGL Visitation - exemplification went well. Three brethren presented with 50 year certificates and photograph of Bro K D Kennedy unveiled - see photographs
2/4/2008 First 33 2 2 Deaths - Tommy Allardice was 77 and joined the lodge in 1952 and William Simpson was 79 and joined the lodge in 1953. A minute's silence was observed.

7/5/08 First 32 5 2 A good degree by the Lodge Past Masters

4/6/08 First 39 7 7 The death was announced of Bro Tom Menzies who was 73 and joined the lodge in 1965. A minute's silence was observed. One of our visitors was a past District Grand Master of the District of New Zealand North and was a member of Lodge Montrose No 722. A good degree by the office bearers.
2/7/08 Mark 51 22 15 The death was announced of Bro Harry Miller who was 79 and joined the lodge in 1956. A minute's silence was observed. Not the best Mark degree ever.
6/8/08 Second 74 45 26 Among the many visitors was the RWPGM of the Middle Ward of Lanarkshire and three of his office bearers as well as seven reigning masters. Bro Robert Simpson who had affiliated to Lodge Dalhousie No 679 in Carnoustie received his Jubilee Certificate from the RWM and the RWPGM. see photographs. A good degree by the office bearers.
